Hallo folks and friends,
after now 26000km with my savage I recognized an interesting sound out of my engine. First I thought about the valve gab (???is this the right word?? Ventilspiel??)
but the suzuki garage said the valve gab is in toleranze. The mechanic said that my cam shaft is problably weared.. I heard about that as an spezial problem of the savage.
The sound is a loud klicking, which starts at approx. 80km/h with fifth gear. It doesnt stop with accelerating but with decelerating under 80km/h.
Does anyone has an Idea what else could be the problem?? Valve spring?? Today I started to open the engine to have a look, but I need more suggestions.
I hope one of you can help me.
